Over a decade ago, we made the decision to NOT SELL Pure Integrity Candles through conventional national retailers, including the large big box stores.
We wanted our prices to be competitive with typical paraffin/petroleum based candles on the market without sacrificing quality. The costs of making our candles are higher because we use BETTER QUALITY raw materials and MORE FRAGRANCE. In order to keep prices down, we decided to sell our candles through our own retail locations and our website. This avoids pricey markups through conventional retailers.
Over the years, several large national retailers have contacted us to place our candle line in their stores and attempted to convince us to cut costs by reducing quality which would allow them to sell our candles with higher profits. We’ve refused!

Are paraffin candles really harmful to my health?
There is some debate over this question. Commonsense would certainly lead you to believe that burning any petroleum product indoors is not the healthiest thing in the world. Well, paraffin wax is literally one of the by-products of petroleum oil when making/refining gasoline.

I love spicy scents, but I'm aware not everyone does. This is a great balance of fresh clear apple and lovely rich spice. It does a fantastic job of neutralizing kitchen and pet odors without that gross "blanketing" effect. Because this isn't a pastry scent, there are no butter or sugar notes that can go cloying. It's simple, spicy, and oh-so-autumnal. If you want that fall feel without an overt bakery smell in your house, I think Hot Mulled Cider is a great choice. I purchased a 26 oz candle, which is strong enough to scent a 12' x 30 ' sunroom. I ended up repurchasing two more 26 oz and I have a feeling this is going to be my cold-weather signature home scent. I also love to burn this in combination wtih the Oolong Tea candle (a perennial fresh favorite) for an even more diffused, less spicy version.
I'd been a loyal customer to a well known jar candle company for many years until I realized how toxic they were. I searched for so long and tried many different soy candles and have been disappointed. Pure Integrity offers a visually stunning candle, a wonderful scent list and most importantly they burn nicely and retain the aroma all the way through. I ordered two fall scents, mulled cider and hot apple strudel. The candle was kept in the kitchen, but the aroma spread through the entire house. I loved these so much that I ordered them again, in larger sizes and ordered some new scents as well! I've finally found the soy candle I've been searching for and simply cannot wait to order the Winter scents!! Shipping was quick, by the way, and I love the little sample thrown in!
I originally tried the candles because my husband wanted a pleasant fragrance in his office. I wanted a candle that did not put noxious fumes in the air and found Pure Integrity Soy Candles. I bought hot mulled cider and used them in our living area and my husband's office. The fragrance was wonderful. Recently, my husband asked me to buy more candles because he loved them so much. I like the frosted jar and no label on the front giving it a pretty addition to the room. I am excited to use the citrus blossom next. The fragrance smells refreshing which should be appropriate for the spring time. The almond vanilla is nice but on the sweet side which is not my preference so I will not be buying that one again.
I've looked all over the internet for soy candles that smell amazing, burn clean for long amounts of time, and are reasonably priced. Well, Pure Integrity has them! Frosting is my new favorite scent: it leaves my room smelling like a mixture of vanilla cupcakes and ice cream cones. For focusing in my office, I love to burn the espresso tealights. The pure vanilla and oatmeal cookie scents have been equally delightful, and I can't wait to try out my mulled cider candle next. I am delighted with my candle. I ordered just one on sale to try. I found you by googling and reading reviews. My purchase arrived quickly and it was so nice to receive a handwritten note. So happy I discovered this company and these candles. Nice knowing I'm no longer burning thoes toxic parrifin wax candles. These are a great alternative and the only candles I'll buy from now on. My son has asthma and these don't bother him at all which is huge plus in my book. The scent is wonderful and long lasting. My husband even commented on how nice they smell. I currently have the 10oz jars which fill the room nicely but I'm going bigger next time since I love them so much! If you try them you won't be disappointed!! I've ordered a half a dozen different scents from Pure Integrity, since I discovered them online around Christmas time, and the Hot Mulled Cider permeates throughout my house more than the others. I like Victorian Christmas, it sends a stronger pine scent than Whispering Pines; Whispering Pines smells wonderful, like being at camp, but you have to have your nose right up to it if you're trying to fill a large room. Hot Mulled Cider fills a great room, and can also travel downstairs, without being at all overpowering, which is what I wanted.
Hot Mulled Cider is a soft, warm, soothing scent that I really enjoy. The apple in this is more muted, unlike Hot Apple Strudel where the apple is brighter. There is something unique about it that makes it suitable for both Fall and Winter/Christmas. Its just wonderful! I am so thankful to have found this company after seeking out other soy candle brands for so long. Pure Integrity shares their faith, grace, and kindness. This lovely candle burns in my kitchen daily!! I ordered the 26 ounce and the scent carries through my entire kitchen and downstairs living area! It is a strong, spicy (cinnamon) sweet candle...and totally reminds me of mulled cider! And Fall! Can't wait to start burning the other candles I ordered as well! I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son, this is his favorite scent of candle, and decided to use it for myself, burned it in my family room. I love the soy candles since my house is fairly newly painted, it does keep the soot away. The scent is lovely, subtle, I love it (my son is right). I am so happy I found Pure Integrity, I bought a new batch this week (I hope I can actually save these for Christmas gifts!) Although with the pandemic we will have no get togethers, hmmm, who knows! HAHA.
I bought the Hot Mulled Cider melts to try out and was definitely not disappointed. This scent is a very nice apple cinnamon/apple cider type scent and I'm a huge fan of that kind of scent. I also bought the Hot Apple Strudel and Apple Crisp candles and though all of them have been wonderful, I'd say Hot Apple Strudel has been my favorite. You definitely can't go wrong with any of them though - they're all worth a try and will fill your home with a wonderful fall/spiced apple scent!
I knew from reviews on Candlefind that these candles had no labels but was immediately struck by their simplicity and elegance when I opened the box. Just lovely! And this one reminds me of the spiced tea we used to make years ago at Christmas time, so good memories. The throw is about a 7 on a 1-10 scale in my large den so I should probably just use it in a bathroom. But earlier today I burned this one alongside the pumpkin waffle and it was wonderful!
This is a classic !!! I used this one in my living room candle warmer during the holidays. I had a lot of compliments on how great it smelled. You may think of Hot Mulled Cider as a holiday or winter only scent but once you smell it you will want to use it year round. I love that no matter how many times or how long I leave the warmer on the scent still burns clean and as fragrant as it was when I first used it. This is one youll want to keep on hand !!!!
I'm a sucker for strong scents, so I wish this one was a tad stronger than it is. The smell itself, however, is on point! If you want something to fill your living room but not be overpowering, this is perfect for you..I just like overpowering scents. They sent a free sample of the hot apple streusel candle and that one really packs a punch (perfect for me!).

This is the quintessential fragrance of Autumn and Integrity Candles does it beautifully. The scent is strong but natural with no artificial or chemical undertones. I appreciate the soft color instead of the artificially dark colors that some candle-makers use. It is so nice to enjoy the warm, luscious scent of autumn without worrying about the risk of toxicity. The vanilla candle is my favorite. A pure vanilla scent not too strong, just right.

This candle has the perfect amount of fragrance for our house. We have a 3 bedroom ranch with an open living room and kitchen. This carries the rich tone of cider throughout the house. The same smell you'd get from heating up an open pot of cider on the stove, moments after the spices were added. It brings to mind the warming sensation you feel while enjoying such a seasonal favorite.
I am always looking for nontoxic candles, and this recent purchase is on the heels of finding a wall of soot in my bathroom from the candle I had been burning! I am very pleased with these so far- clean burning and they smell really good. The scent is not as strong as a more well known toxic brand, but that is a good thing as I no longer get headaches like I did burning other brands.
I purchased these candles last month because I had heard soy was a cleaner burn. I had my doubts because of this the fragrance would be dull. I was so wrong! I have allergies and sensitivity to candle smoke and sometimes fragrance. These soy candles do not make me cough and they smell wonderful! I have lit the 16 oz hot mulled cider everyday four hours and it scents the whole kitchen and entry but without heavy cloying perfume smell that can give me a headache. I love these candles and the fact they burn clean and last a long time.

I love the scent of this candle! It has a good throw, and the jar is attractive. I burned it in a medium sized room and we could smell it as soon as we walked into the room. I came upon this website via a search for healthier candles, since I had learned the paraffin candles were toxic.

Of course, fall is in the air, after all it is November. But I live in Phoenix, Arizona and as much as I love our weather, I really miss fall as we don't see a real change in the seasons. This is the second time I have ordered the Hot Mulled Cider Candles and I love them. They bring a bit of fall inside, even if I still have the air conditioning on!

This is a favorite of mine from last year. I love burning this candle on a cold morning in Pennsylvania. It instantly fills the air w the scent of tart baked apples. I am a big fan of soy especially since it burns cleaner than regular petroleum based candles. I also love that pure integrity is made in America and supports a family run business.
