Over a decade ago, we made the decision to NOT SELL Pure Integrity Candles through conventional national retailers, including the large big box stores.
We wanted our prices to be competitive with typical paraffin/petroleum based candles on the market without sacrificing quality. The costs of making our candles are higher because we use BETTER QUALITY raw materials and MORE FRAGRANCE. In order to keep prices down, we decided to sell our candles through our own retail locations and our website. This avoids pricey markups through conventional retailers.
Over the years, several large national retailers have contacted us to place our candle line in their stores and attempted to convince us to cut costs by reducing quality which would allow them to sell our candles with higher profits. We’ve refused!
I think you will be glad we have stood firm to our original intent of providing an amazingly scented healthy candle at a great price. Are paraffin candles really harmful to my health?
There is some debate over this question. Commonsense would certainly lead you to believe that burning any petroleum product indoors is not the healthiest thing in the world. Well, paraffin wax is literally one of the by-products of petroleum oil when making/refining gasoline.
Now, we are not saying that a single candle is going to kill anyone, but if there is a healthier alternative available, why not choose it? This was my first purchase from this company and believe me I buy a lot of candles!! I'm a cigarette smoker have 4 dogs and cats. I ordered 2 Evergreen which matter what season I enjoy all year round however I was very disappointed in this scent I could barely smell it which surprised after such great reviews. Also disappointed with the Gardenia very little smell had to burn both at the same time then I was able to smell it. Now on the other hand the Sandalwood Amber which another of my favorite scents smelled awesome one candle and my house smelled great even my daughter complemented the smell when she walked in. Bought the Rose scent for my Husband and absolutely makes a room smell like a fresh bouquet of roses. Bought my daughter the Lilac and she said she loves the scent and it's highly fragrant!!! I received a free sample of tea lights Vanilla unfortunately it's not my thing so gave them to my Daughter and she said they where very nice! I would purchase again my favorites!!
I love candles & have bought many different brands over the years. I am beyond thrilled that I stumbled upon Pure Integrity soy candles! This is the ONLY brand I will purchase from now on. The jars they come in are beautiful. I love the glass they use! Unlike clear glass, the flame is uniquely illuminated. It’s very soothing. The candle burns 100% clean & 100% evenly. These candles are superb. The Sandalwood Amber candle was delightful. The fragrance while unlit is wonderful & the fragrance when lit definitely does not disappoint. It didn’t have a lot of fragrance while lit AT FIRST, but after burning for a few hours, it was amazing from then on. I burned it in my open concept living room & the fragrance was able to permeate throughout. It wasn’t overpowering, just the right amount. I love coming home because when I open the door, I smell Sandalwood Amber right away even when it hasn’t been lit since the night before. It is such a welcoming scent. Price is just right as well!
Pure Integrity candles are the only candles I buy anymore since first discovering them in 2019. It's very helpful that when shopping online, each candle description indicates what fragrance(s) are used in the making so you get a pretty good idea of what to expect. Reasonably priced, highly scented, & they last a long time! I've tried several scents but my favorites are Cashmere (I burn during my morning Quiet Time), Woodstock or Sandalwood Amber used throughout the house. Peppermint scent is a light, subtle, clean fragrance that's fun. Many of the floral scents are delightful also. There are many others I've ordered and enjoy but those are the candles I order most because we really enjoy them. And not one of any Pure Integrity candle I've received has disappointed me. It's just a matter of personal preference. Prompt shipping with personal notes included in each order and often a sample. I say the company itself is "pure integrity"! Try them - you won't be disappointed!!
I am a candle aficionado. I love lighting a candle every morning I wake up to get my day started. However, once I found out how toxic the candles were that I was buying at other stores, I felt cheated and disappointed. I spent hours on end at stores looking for soy candles just to find that they were labeled soy candles but were also mixed with other ingredients that were still toxic. Imagine my excitement when I stumbled upon Pure Integrity. Not only do they take pride in making safe non toxic candles that I can light in my home and not worry about my family breathing in harsh chemicals but they're also a company that takes pride in its customers as well. Every time I order from them I get a handwritten note thanking me for my purchase. Now that's a company that I'll spend my last dollar with. I will never ever go anywhere else for candles for myself or as gifts for friends and family. Not to mention, they're candles are the absolute best smelling candles I've ever lit
The fragrance is clean, my hubby noted that it did not have the petroleum smell that most candles do; again, burns cleanly and it burned a very long time, certainly what the brochure stated. the jars are very attractive, I like that they are not cluttered with stickers, they will go in any room and look nice. I burned these in the living room and received many compliments on the fragrance.
The boxed has a hand written note from the owners, something I really appreciated, as well a sample of La Reserve which is a really wonderful fragrance ( I will be ordering that next week)

I have sought out sandalwood candles for many years
Yes, it is a soothing and calming fragrance, but I am drawn to it more so because the first time I smelled it, and every time since, I felt like it was a part of me. Odd perhaps, but I had a strong visceral response to it. Sandalwood has a many, many centuries-long history and I can understand why.
Many sandalwood scented candles have a harsh, sharp scent, or one that is barely noticeable. The Pure Integrity Sandalwood-Amber candle, however, is different. It has a clear, pure sandalwood scent that it enhanced by an amber fragrance. It is a delightful scent that can be used in any season. The experience of smelling sandalwood is an experience shared by multitudes of people all over the world for millennia. It's nice to be in touch that way. :-).
My Fiance and I LOVE your soy based candles.... The fragrances are so true to their names...... Sandlewood Amber is our favorite and the vanillas are wonderful also.... Had them in my Living room.... Would highly recommend to everyone who loves wonderfully scented long lasting candles to purchase them from Integrity.... "PURE INTEGRITY" candles are simply the best..... You now have another satisfied and continuous repeat customer.... I love candles and have been searching for a single source for quality product forEVER. Wants: long burning, strong enough (or not, as needed) scents, reasonable pricing, and consistency. Looks like I have finally found all of this at Pure Integrity. I ordered 4 scents (sandalwood amber, orange vanilla, jasmine, and lily of the valley) to test drive a variety. VERY IMPRESSIVE! The burn times are wonderful and the scents are great - not too strong and match what you would expect. Lily of the Valley is pretty sweet, but that's no surprise. :) Small rooms don't get overwhelmed and big rooms still get enough. Bottom line - I'm hooked. The sandalwood amber is simply amazing. Oh - and a lovely hand written note with my order. It's the little things.

I have paid 12.00 (only on sale) for candles from Bath and body works for years. Saw the description of these saying they last 50-55 hrs for 19.99. So before I ordered I checked their site and no where does it say how long they burn. So I pulled one out and kept time over 4 days. Total of 21 hrs. Smells good but goes so fast. Ordered this one and it smells AH-MAZING. At first I thought it smelled like baby powder but then I burned it. So warm and woodsy.. The throw is awesome..covers my 650 sq foot den for hours after I burn it. Recorded the burn time. 56 hours of great scent. I won't waste my money on Bath and body works again. Loved the hand written note and 2 free votive of a new scent to try.
This is hands down one of my wifes and I favorite candles from Pure Integrity. I dont know what it is about this candle, but the aromatherapy they talk about really works for us with this scent. My wife and I let the Purd Intergrity Sadlewood Amber candle burn on the table right in between our two recliners in the living room. After having this scent lit for roughly an hour it truely does relax you. I would rate the scent a solid five plus and the scent strength is exactly what Pure Integrity says it is which I believe is strong. Anyway I highly recommend this scent. Also we use pure integrity as there candles truely are so clean burning. A great all around product and in many other scents also.
I just happened across your website while searching for soy candles I ordered Sandalwood Amber. I was a little nervous about it because I didn't get to smell it before buying it but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. I love the smell so much, it's very fragrant which is what I wanted, the candles you buy in the stores are very inferior in smell and overall quality. I also wanted to mention when I received my candle I got a hand written letter thanking me for my purchase I also got 2 tealight candles for free just to try out. Really wasn't expecting such a depth of scent from this candle, nor was I expected the aroma to last so long. I can't recommend this candle enough, it's such an immersive and clean smelling scent. As a husband to a wife that like floral candles, I've been itching for something clean and (dare I say masculine)....This is 100% it.
This candle is top's on my Christmas list, and i'll be a repeat customer as long as this candle remains in their inventory. Oh, and the customer service was pretty steller too, hand-written note was included and a sample of another scent too.

Very happy with my purchases. I tried out the smaller sizes, but will definitely splurge for the larger next time. I've only used two of the four I purchased. The Lemongrass & Sage us AWESOME. I'm sad I burned that one first. The Sandalwood Amber is delicious, too. I wear Egyptian Musk oil almost every day, and the way the candle smells without being lit, I can already tell I'll love it. The Herb Garden smells good, too. I wish they burned a little longer. :) That's the only thing negative, so far. But, I like having good smells constantly, so keeping it going as long as I do is my fault. ;)
These are the best candles I have ever had. I am not sure what all the fuss is about Yankee candles because they just dont really have a nice scent or burn very well In my opinion.I can smell these candles when you walk into a room even when theyre not burning. I first started buying Pure Integrity candles because I had a store in the Galleria Mall right next-door. That was probably almost 15 years ago. I had just bought some for myself and a few for my friends and they all love them.
I would recommend these candles to anyone and they completely burned all the way down evenly.
Sandalwood has been my favorite scent of incense for over 30 years and its hard to find quality Sandalwood candles. This scent is my absolute favorite!!
Its not an overwhelming strong scent of sandalwood because the amber adds a sweetness to the scent. I will be buying these candles for as long as Pure Integrity makes them. I make sure I dont run out of them. I burn them in my bedroom at night and love the sweet musky scent they leave in the air. Ive tried approximately 20 different scents from Pure Integrity and Sandalwood Amber is my number 1 favorite candle. Love these!!
I purchased the Sandalwood Amber candle in a large jar. The jar with wooden lid is beautiful and will be repurposed once the amazing candle is gone. This was my first Pure Integrity candle and unlike cheap candles, it burns evenly, has a scent that is pleasant (not cloying or overwhelming), doesn't burn your eyes like some scented candles, and burns without smoke. Coupled with its attractive, matte glass jar, it is soothing, calming, and safe.
I highly recommend these candles to anyone who is looking for the best in soy candles. Love mine, Need more!
I wasn't sure if I was going to like this scent or not but it is a winner! Sometimes amber can impart a heavy scent, with too much musk for my taste, but not this one. Just enough amber to make the scent a bit mysterious. I love sandalwood for its slightly sweet and woodsy scent, and the amber mingles perfectly.
I had a 16-oz jar lit in the back bathroom and the scent drifted through the back part of the house. I found myself wandering back there just to smell the wonderfulness of it!
I'll be back for more of this one!
I cannot get enough of this scent. Absolutely gorgeous as a bedroom scent--in fact this burns regularly in mine. It's rich, woody, and reminiscent of some very expensive, very sexy men's cologne, but it's complex enough that it's not overpoweringly masculine, and it seems to soften as it burns (or maybe my nose just adjusts). Definitely a sophisticated scent--not cheap or overly sweet. It's one of those candles I sometimes catch a whiff of even when it's not burning, and I get a little jolt of happiness. Completely in love.
First of all, I just wanted to say how thrilled I am that I stumbled upon this candle company. The candles last forever and they're in beautiful packaging!
Secondly, my fiance and I are in LOVE with the Sandalwood Amber candle. It smells so warm and cozy, and isn't too strong. We live in a fairly small, older house and the scent fills it up softly.
We also ordered the "Almost Paradise" candle and can't WAIT to see how it burns.

I have truly been enjoying these candles. My favorite scents from my purchase where the bud & berries, and vanilla almond. I just wasn't particularly fond of this sandalwood Amber-it had too much of a soapy smell (in my opinion). One of my favorite things about these candles are the clean smell and beautiful frosted jars with real wooden lid. I think it is soothing to have a candle lit without a bunch of labeling and marketing all over it. It just becomes a part of your home environment without detracting from the atmosphere.
I'm a sandalwood fan, and would have preferred a plain sandalwood candle. I don't know what amber is, or should smell like, but thought I'd take a chance. So maybe I'm not the best judge, but I really don't care for the fragrance. For some strange reason, it kind of smells like shaving cream to me. So I put it in the bathroom! I'll use it, but I won't get another. I'll stick with a more familiar fragrance. But the candle itself, the jar and lid, are really nice and would look good wherever you chose to put them.
Victorian Xmas is amazing. Good strong scent.
Jasmine and Sandalwood also lovely scents.
The fruit scent (substituted for the Vanika) is not as strong as I'd like, but it's a nice scent.
I wanted to change the vanilla to the fruit after I ordered, and PI acted immediately - pulled it off the shipping and made the change. I am very grateful for that.
They all burn perfectly and the frosted jars are quite classy. Thank you for not putting labels on them!

I heard about your candles from my daughter. I visited her this past November in Wyoming, and she was showing me the candles she had purchased from you. I felt they would make lovely presents so ordered some for Christmas gifts. The presentation of candles in their glass containers is beautiful, love the wood cover. Also like the health benefits in that these are soy candles . Best of all is the long lasting scent that these candles produce. Plan to order more, looking forward to trying different scents.
The candles filled my open-concept home with superb fragrances. Since the kitchen, dining and living room areas are all open, there's no way to cordon off a specific room. Still, the candles on the kitchen counter released their wonderful, soothing scents throughout the entire area. I bought Lilac, Sandalwood and Lavender candles and can't decide on a favorite because they're all beautiful, clean and long-burning. I definitely recommend these candles to anyone in search of a new sensory experience.
I received a gift certificate for Pure Integrity candles as a birthday gift. I ordered the Sandalwood Amber hoping it would have a sweet warm mild scent. I wasn't disappointment.
This candle not only smells wonderful, but it doesn't have that chemical type smell that makes my sinuses tender. More than anything, I appreciate the clean straightforward design. It doesn't class with the decor and I light it often and it's still burning.

I found this company by googling soy candles made in the USA. I ordered a variety of wax melts to try different scents, and am happy to say that all the great reviews are well deserved. The Sandalwood Amber scent is unfortunately not for me. I ordered nine different melt scents, knowing that personal preferences vary and that I wouldn't love them all. The Peppermint, Victorian Christmas, and Cranberry Spice are my favorites. The customer service, packing, and shipping were all first class.
My daughter told me about your candles, and gave me some sample tealights. I was hooked! My favorite so far is the sandalwood amber. Sandalwood is one of my favorite scents, and this one is true sandalwood. My husband loves the oatmeal cookie! We are excited to try other scents. Jasmine is next, also a favorite scent of mine. I must say that these candles are indeed wonderful! All the candles I ordered: Tropical Breeze, Sandalwood Amber, Almond Vanilla and Lavender have a fantastic smell that delight my nose and others. I love the fact that they're 100% soy wax so they don't emit harmful chemicals and they last a pretty long time, depending how often you burn them.
