Over a decade ago, we made the decision to NOT SELL Pure Integrity Candles through conventional national retailers, including the large big box stores.
We wanted our prices to be competitive with typical paraffin/petroleum based candles on the market without sacrificing quality. The costs of making our candles are higher because we use BETTER QUALITY raw materials and MORE FRAGRANCE. In order to keep prices down, we decided to sell our candles through our own retail locations and our website. This avoids pricey markups through conventional retailers.
Over the years, several large national retailers have contacted us to place our candle line in their stores and attempted to convince us to cut costs by reducing quality which would allow them to sell our candles with higher profits. We’ve refused!
I think you will be glad we have stood firm to our original intent of providing an amazingly scented healthy candle at a great price. Are paraffin candles really harmful to my health?
There is some debate over this question. Commonsense would certainly lead you to believe that burning any petroleum product indoors is not the healthiest thing in the world. Well, paraffin wax is literally one of the by-products of petroleum oil when making/refining gasoline.
Now, we are not saying that a single candle is going to kill anyone, but if there is a healthier alternative available, why not choose it? Pure Integrity Candles makes truly outstanding candles with truly outstanding service! I have ordered over 20 candles and have been extremely pleased with all of them. I have never smelled any other non-toxic candles that smell this good! Whether they are light or strong throw candles, I have always been pleased with the aroma that fills my spaces. I have used them in my larger spaces, living room and bedroom.
Since I order from out of state, each time I order I ask for samples of others scents I may be interested in. The owners kindly send me every fragrance I want to try!

When I first opened this candle, the aroma was intoxicating. It smells like Christmas: warm sugar cookies, buttery jammy berry tarts, fresh nutmeg, cinnamon sticks, sitting by the fireplace wrapped in a blanket having tea with family, sugared cranberries, fresh snow, egg nog, pine cones and acorns, juicy citrus with a hint of clove.
When I lit the candle, I didn't smell anything at first. I was disappointed and thought I'd have to return it, but since I loved the cold throw so much, I decided to give it another chance. I let it burn longer in the living room and went upstairs. After a couple hours, I came back downstairs and was pleasantly surprised by the sweet and comforting aroma this candle put out. It was subtle, but at the same time, VERY noticable upon reentering the room. It's not overwhelming, which is actually nice. This is great to burn a couple hours before you have guests coming over. It's very inviting and makes the whole place feel like a warm hug. A new favorite.
I love all of your candles! I found your company through a google search a few years ago when the usual place I purchased candles went out of business. I'm so glad I found you! I order bundles of tealights - usually 6-7 at a time- and haven't tried all the scents in my latest order yet. But they each smell wonderful! I put unlit tealights in closets or linen cabinets, to freshen up clothes and sheets. I keep a small group of tealights in most rooms, and light them whenever I'm working in that room. Nothing beats a warm fragrance on a dreary day. I have floral selections, favorite foods (apples, pears, lemons, vanilla), and now your collections - cashmere, woodstock, comforts of home. I have never met a Pure Integrity Soy Candle I didn't love!!! They burn cleanly and completely, and much longer than other candles. I was in search for a clean burning, toxin free candle and after much research I discovered Pure Integrity Soy Candles. This will be the only candle brand that I ever purchase again! I've tried Comforts of Home, Peppermint and Almost Paradise. They are all AMAZING! And not only do they burn cleanly (no soot whatsoever), they burn evenly! And, the smell is absolutely heavenly. I'm also over-the-top impressed with the company and their customer service. The order shipped quickly, arrived perfectly and inside I was delighted to find a free sample of some tealights and a hand written note from the owner saying thanks! No one does that anymore!! I've looked all over the internet for soy candles that smell amazing, burn clean for long amounts of time, and are reasonably priced. Well, Pure Integrity has them! Frosting is my new favorite scent: it leaves my room smelling like a mixture of vanilla cupcakes and ice cream cones. For focusing in my office, I love to burn the espresso tealights. The pure vanilla and oatmeal cookie scents have been equally delightful, and I can't wait to try out my mulled cider candle next. Finally, I want to thank Pure Integrity for their excellent customer service. I first heard about Pure Integrity Candles from a friend, and what sold me was the fact that they are safe for homes with pet birds. (Bird aficionados know that burning regular candle wicks can be toxic to our feathered friends.) Then I found so many wonderful scents that I became a regular customer. During COVID, I started ordering the candles online, and they arrive quickly and meticulously packaged, with a lovely note. So we have an excellent product, provided with stellar service... what more can we ask for? This year, their new scent, Comforts of Home, is my favorite. It's subtle and homey, and I hope it will be a permanent addition to the lineup.

She wanted candles but I wanted candles that were not full of chemicals, carcinogens and things that would harm her precious lungs. I am a new customer to Pure Integrity Candles. I decided to give the candles a try so I started with a candle that had a discount on it (just in case I didn't like it). It's not even in the strongest scent category, but my home is filled with the most comforting scent. I absolutely love it. The candle burns so beautifully and looks so nice in the frosted glass. Plus the candles were packaged so nicely, I received a few samples of other scents and a wonderful handwritten note welcoming me was included. I can't wait to try more Pure Integrity Candle scents. My new favorite candle scent is Comforts of Home! I usually burn some kind of cinnamon spice scent & thought Id give this a try for a change. It gives me the spice but with a little bit of fresh scent added to it! So many people whove come into our home have commented on it and how good our house smells! Comforts of Home is definitely a keeper! Not only do Pure Integrity candles smell good, but they burn so nice and even and all the way to the bottom with no black soot! dont think Ill ever go back to my old store bought brand again!
I burn candles in every room of my home. I was using overly priced candles from a well known shop that exists in most malls. I decided to look for candles that have great scents and good 'throw'. Pure Integrity candles are awesome. The scents are beautiful and I like that the candles and jars are simple. The effort is all in the scent of the candles and THAT is why I buy a scented candle. Try these candles they are wonderful. I love Comforts of Home scented candle, comforting scent of home, complex scent..not ONE flat smell.
We are new customers and we LOVE Pure Integrity candles!!! What were we doing with our lives before we found you?! First of all, we are used to pretty strong scented candles, so we made sure to pick candles that were 4 or 5 out of 5 on the scent power scale provided.

I purchased a few candles for my daughter, she is 20 and likes to burn candles in her room but i was concerned with toxins. I did some research and found this company that has soy wax. We can tell the difference already. I do not have tingle in my throat or feel like an overwhelming scent that just does not seem healthy if that makes sense. All of the candles we purchased were nice and subtle smell no irritation. I loved all but this scent that I purchased, just a bit too sweet or something for me anyhow.
I learned about Pure Integrity candles purely by accident. I bought one at a Goodwill store as I collect candles. I stored it away and used it during a power outage. Wow was I hooked because of that power outage I have ordered a variety of products from Pure Integrity. I used to order from another well known candle company, but items delivered damaged. Not one of my orders, a few now, has had any damage at all. I haven't used all of the ones I have ordered, but as I do I will let you know about them.
I always did love Pure Integrity melts! I purchased some Fall fragranced melts and will use them soon, others I bought for my baths and bedrooms. They all are awesome smelling and I know I will purchase more. The Comforts of Home was a new one for me and I'm so glad I tried it, the only con I have about it is that the wax was harder to get out of the packaging because it was much softer than the other melts, but the fragrance was absoutely excellent. Loved all of them. You had me at my first melt!
While visiting a friend I commented on how wonderful her home smelled. She told me it was a Victorian Christmas scented candle from her favorite shop. She then gifted me Victorian Christmas & Pumpkin Pecan Waffle candle and I absolutely loved them both! So, I purchased some new scents for myself and to share with others. The jars are lovely, the scents are amazing (not overpowering) and the burn lasts long time. I will definitely be ordering again!
My best friend gave me one of your candles for Christmas. I went on line and ordered more because I loved the one given. When I received my order, first I was very impressed with the hand written note that can with them, that made me feel like this company really care about the product and their costumers. I love my candles and will order more once my house remodeling is complete. My daughter loved them and will order some too.
I just received my second order of candles today. I have tried at least 8 different scents so far and love all of them. I live in Texas and after being without power and water in freezing temperatures for over 48 hours, this was such a pleasant surprise and put a big smile on my face! They warmed my heart and senses!

Loved every one of these candles! My daughter found this company a couple years ago because she knows I am conscious of NOT burning anything but soy or bees wax candles for our health and environment. These are such clean smelling and burning candles. I bought the citrus blossom for a gift and had the hardest time giving it up! I just LOVED the smell!! Now I have that on my wish list.

This candle is exactly what it says: Comforts of Home! It makes me smile when I burn it. I have had a favorite in the past, but I must say, this is my new favorite! Comforts of home is the best fragrance. Soy is so much better because you don’t get all the soot. I wanted to order as a gift. The store has been closed as they are moving to a new location. I was given a free shipping code. I ordered the candle and received it the next day. Amazing service.

It really smells like the house I grew up; it reminds me returning from school and mom was baking cookies. The scent is nice and not overpowering. This candle scents every open space I live in. The extraordinary quality of this candles has maintained throghout the time.
